Health insurance
Health insurance is a big problem in United
State because the amount of Americans without insurance is increasing every
day. It is almost impossible for a person to afford a medical insurance because
of his price. One example is where I work, the insurance is free for the employee
but if I want to add a family member I would have to pay almost a thirty percent
of my salary. Although some people have health insurance when they come to the
office they are not able to afford the copayment, despite that a cash office
visit cost forty dollars that is what they have to pay for their copayment.
This problem is
affecting the economy because people without insurance are going to the emergency
room where they cannot afford to pay the bills. In addition Medical and Medicare
program are out control because is not regulated and some people are taking
advance of the system. Also there is not fund to invest in these programs.
There is a need of change in the health care
system so it can be affordable for everybody.
